These days there are many options when it comes to buying garden furniture - and options to suit all budgets! However, unfortunately, not all garden furniture available on the market is the same standard or quality.

Here at DFS, we only stock furniture we would be proud to have in our own homes - so we look for stylish, quality, practical and weatherproof garden furniture pieces that you can enjoy for years to come. We're so confident that we also offer a free 2 year guarantee on all our garden furniture.

Just like the rest of our products, all the garden furniture we sell at DFS is independently quality tested in accredited laboratories, so you'll know you're purchasing safe, quality furniture that will stand the test of time.

One of the first elements to choosing garden furniture is the size you have space for. Smaller gardens may only have room for a bistro set, while large gardens can fit an outdoor dining table, outdoor corner sofa or even a pergola.

You may also want to consider the material of your chosen garden furniture. There are many material options in the outdoor furniture market, including rattan, aluminium, solid wood and plastic. Some of these are more durable than others, and not all are designed to be left outside year-round.

Here at DFS, we stock a range of materials, but all our garden furniture is weatherproof and safe to leave out over the winter - so that's one less thing to worry about! You can concentrate on the fun stuff - like stylish silhouettes, contemporary finishes, and practical features like rising tables and integrated fire pits.

You don't have to worry about rain or shine with our garden sofas - every single model we sell has been tested to be both water and UV-resistant. We've chosen clever quick-dry materials that ensure you can continue enjoying your outdoor furniture, even if it's caught in a shower.

Yes, aluminium is a great choice for garden furniture. It is hardwearing - even outdoors - lightweight, and versatile, offering a choice of finishes and colours, and combines well with other popular garden furniture materials.

Our aluminium all-weather pergolas in particular are a great investment for sunny or exposed gardens

All our garden furniture cushions are UV, rain, and frost resistant, meaning you don't have to rush out and cover them during a quick shower! However, if you want to protect them over the winter and extend their lifespan, you have plenty of options. Our Tunisia cushion bags are a great budget-friendly solution - these easy-to-carry bags are frost, shower and UV resistant. For something more substantial, our Dursley storage box is a stylish, sturdy option that could also be used for other outdoor equipment - like outdoor toys!
