What size is a single bed?
While standard single mattresses measure up at a 90cm x 190cm, single bed sizes can still vary in length and width.
Depending on the materials used, type of bed frame, and whether it has a headboard or not, you may find your single bed base comes in slightly smaller or larger. So, always check the specific measurements on the product page to ensure the best fit for your space.
Don’t forget to measure any hallways, staircases, and doorways as well, to be sure there’s space to get your new bed to the room you want it in.
Is a single bed the right choice for me?
Single beds are a great choice for ensuring your little ones have a cosy, comfortable space to drift off in come bedtime.
Bunk beds are best for siblings who share a room, giving them both their own space, while not taking up too much square footage. But you can always go for a single high sleeper with space for a desk or soft play area underneath, taking full advantage of the floor space.
