Running our business in line with our values is incredibly important to us. It is a priority for our Group to ensure that we trade ethically, source responsibly and work to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking throughout our organisation and in our supply chains. We take seriously any allegation of human rights abuse in all its forms and will not tolerate human rights’ abuse against individuals within our Group or our supply chain.
A key part of our Code of Conduct makes it clear that we do not accept or tolerate modern slavery, which includes servitude, forced labour or human trafficking, and child labour, in our own business or in our wider supply chain – in fact, in any organisation that we deal with - in the UK or overseas.
We have continued to work with our partners, suppliers and contractors to develop our programme in this area, to understand the complex issues around modern slavery and to ensure that all those working within our Group and our supply chains are treated with respect. We will continue to assess the effectiveness of our programme through our Governance Committee.
