Dr Marianne Trent is a clinical psychologist, author, and host of the award-winning Aspiring Psychologist podcast. She lent her expertise in all things mindfulness to our tidy home, tidy mind campaign, giving us the low-down on how keeping your home organised and functional can improve your wellbeing.
With over 20 years of experience in mental health, Marianne specialises in trauma, grief, and emotional wellbeing. She’s passionate about making psychological insight accessible and relatable, whether through therapy, books, digital content, or media appearances – like those she’s made across the BBC, Channel 5, Sky News, Stylist, and The Guardian.
As the founder of Good Thinking Psychology, Marianne also runs a private online therapy practice, creates warm and down-to-earth health content on her YouTube channel, and has authored two books, The Grief Collective and The Clinical Psychologist Collective. Her mission is to help people feel seen, supported, and empowered, whether they’re navigating big emotions or simply trying to create a calmer life.
