Right move Vs Now 🏡 We moved into this house nearly 7 years ago and my goodness a lot has happened in them years! The day we moved in I thought sh*t what have I done 🙈 moving from a new build flat to a house that had been abandoned for nearly a year. The garden was overgrown and we couldn’t open the back door to get into it, fences were being held up by trees, kitchen was falling to pieces, toilets were not useable as they leaked into the kitchen 🤢 there were mice everywhere and I could have just cried! Anyone who helped us move were sick for days after and well I honestly did not know where to start! But I knew this house was the one! The curb appeal, the potential, being able to get me daughter a trampoline in her own garden that was the goal! And I’ve done it! Houses are not built over night, it’s a long slow process that included planning, budgeting and also a shed load of self determination and the ability to always think it will be ok in the end 😵‍💫 #beforeandafter #rightmove #housebeforeandafter #housetohome #homedesign

It’s got that classic shape but the fabric texture keeps it cozy, and the brass feet are such a lovely, unexpected little detail that just elevates the whole aesthetic. 🩷 Pink Sofa of Dreams!🩷 We welcomed our new dfs Joules Patterdale sofa into our home on Saturday and WOW. It's squishy, spacious and absolutely gorgeous. The cushions are plump, snuggly and perfect for fliging yourself onto after a hard day at work (scroll to the end for silliness😂). But seriously, adding a pink sofa to the room has really warmed up this space. It feels much cosier and dare I say, slightly more elevated?! What do you think? After stripping the wallpaper off the main wall, I painted all the walls in the colour Portland Stone by littlegreenepaintcompany which instantly made the room look lighter and brighter. In March we bought a new sofa and cuddle chair from the Ted Baker range dfs which gives a touch of elegance. New Roman blinds have been added and I have a new light to go up which is so beautiful. Next on the list is a media wall which I’m hoping to start very soon.
