Hello Ash, it's great to have you here. Can you tell us a bit about your journey with DFS?
Of course. I started with the business 7 years ago as a sales colleague and I’ve worked my way up to currently being the Branch General Manager in our brand new Greenwich store. Greenwich has definitely been the highlight of my career as being part of a brand new store has been incredible and I am super excited about the future and the results we are going to achieve as team Greenwich.
We’re sure you’re going to smash it! Tell us, what’s the best advice a manager ever gave you here?
Never stop learning, everyday is an opportunity to learn something new and be a better version of yourself.
That's quite the journey. What was your mindset like before joining DFS?
Before starting with DFS I was unsure what career path I wanted and what my future would look like, but since joining, DFS has really given me a sense of purpose and direction.
What stood out to you about DFS early on?
One thing that really stood out to me was the family-like environment at DFS. It's evident that the company takes pride in developing its people.
It sounds like you had clear goals in mind. How did DFS support your ambitions?
My ambition was always to move into a managerial role, and with the right development plan and coaching from DFS, as well as guidance from my mentor Shane, I've been able to achieve that and am now managing our brand now Greenwich store.
